THE MIDLIFE MOT ONLINE PROGRAMME
The MidLife MOT Online Programme comprises of nine comprehensive modules taking you through all aspects of Midlife. Each module comprises of a video workshop (with transcript) , and indepth workbook with a series of exercises taking you through all the elements of midlife. At the end of each module you will have a better understanding of where you stand in that area of your life today, together with a plan to take you forward, both in the short and long term.
We believe that you will gain the maximum benefit by completing the programme in its entirety, but we have made each individual module available separately.
So what are the modules? What does each one cover?
THE MODULES
Career
In this module we cover how you can future proof your career, and identify and maintain your marketable skills.
This module is split into two parts – each has its own presentation (and transcript) and workbook to complete. The first part is applicable to everyone, as we go through your current skills and identify your strengths in respect to the current job market, any skills gaps you need to address, and creating a plan to future proof your skills for the future. The second part is aimed at those who are considering setting up their own business, as we explore the viability of your idea, and look at all the elements required to move your idea forward.
Midlife Finance
Before we can plan for the future we need to know exactly how our finances stand today – and just how much we realistically need to fund our future lifestyle. This module takes you through a lot of detail! At the end of this module you will have a complete picture of all aspects of your finances today, and a realistic understanding of what you will need financially for the future. This module does not provide investment advice, but does provide the tools to put together a plan for your financial future. It provides a great foundation to plan your personal finances into retirement and beyond, as well as providing a comprehensive starting point for discussions with financial advisors/planners,
Midlife Relationships
In this module we look firstly at the elements of any relationship that are important to you – whether you are in an established relationship or single. For those in in a relationship we look at possible stressors, including the changing landscape if children leave home, or retirement looms. This module is a great one to work through with a partner. For those who are single and are looking to start a new relationship, we identify the important elements of a relationship for you and how to take those first steps, with confidence, into the dating world,
Family and Social
We take a look at the various issues and dilemmas we all experience midlife – and look at ways to ensure that relationships with family and friendships thrive the changes that take place. Looking at issues such as caring for elderly parents, setting boundaries with adult children and expanding your social circle.
